So I finally had time to sit down and watch Parasite and it was fucking amazing! I know not many people are into having to "read" a movie, but I don't mind watching movies where I have to read the subtitles. I am not shocked at all at the fact that Parasite won an Oscar for Movie Of The Year because it was absolutely brilliant. I loved how the family manipulated their way into the rich families home taking over everyones job. For awhile I wasn't sure where it was all going, but then the plot twist came when the old housekeeper came back to the house only for us to discover that her husband is living down there. I knew something had to go down when the rich family went camping and they decided to stay in their house, nothing ever goes right when shit like this happens. I didn't expect everything to get so deadly and violent when the party was going on and then it ending with the father being stuck in the basement. That was such a twist I had no idea that was going to happen. The one part that I loved was when the father and son were in the shelter home from the storm and the father asked the son why he was holding onto that rock and he said that it has this gravitational pull towards him and he can't seem to give it up which is the same thing as a parasite. I really love when everything ties together at the end.
