After being stuck in this quarantine I definitely needed some comedic relief in order to escape reality for a little bit. I was dying to see Good Boys in theater, but I wasn't able to get around to it due to my busy schedule before quarantine so I guess in a way this has become a blessing. HA. Once I realized that Good Boys was put onto HBO I was super psyched and couldn't wait any longer to see it. First off, I thought the movie was hilarious and it was nice to have Seth Rogen back again with his childish humor. It was really funny to see how middle schoolers think nowadays and where they go to get their information. My favorite character was Thor because he was the typical kid that would do anything to get some attention and it would usually be the dumbest shit. He was so funny. I thought it was really interesting to see Jacob Tremblay play a character the resembles the age he is at right now as well as be in a more relaxed role than he usually is. Considering all of the amazing films that he was in this must have been the most fun for him to be a part of. I loved how the movie ended with them splitting off into their own groups, but knowing that they will always be friends first because that is what growing up is about. It's learning to be your own person, but still be able to act like a kid again with your friends.
