Coming to a Theatre Near You: ME!

HELLO WORLD!!! This blog will serve as a mecca for all of your film fixes, updates and reviews on all the movies that you love. Growing up, I have always loved going to the movies or buying the newest film out on DVD, throwing it in my DVD player and popping some popcorn in the microwave while having a quiet night in with some close friends. I watched so many of the same movies sometimes that I began to recite the script line by line. I have multiple reasons for my love of film, but the main reason is how they make me feel. I love that moment when the lights in the theatre begin to dim and you know the movie, or 20 minutes of previews, are about to come on so you start to leave reality and enter into an alternate fantasy. I remember this one specific moment when I went to go see the last installment of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, and during the fight scene one of the main characters *dies* and one of the movie-goers actually got up from his seat and walked out of the theatre throwing his hands up in the air. That is how powerful movies can make us feel and that is why I want to share my appreciation for film with all of you!
